Staff Development Studios

The Staff Development Studios are hands on training specifically designed for staff. Each year we hear how important it is for Vision Source to provide training and education that will help elevate the skillset of staff across categories be it in the optical, a technical skill or customer service & sales. Each session will be 50 minutes long with 10 minutes of transition time. Staff should come ready to learn and engage with participating vendors.

Fit Forward: The Art of Dispensing Specialty Fit Eyewear

Description: Designed for both new opticians and seasoned professionals seeking to fine-tune their skills, this course dives deep into the essentials of frame fitting. With nearly 40% of frame-wearers experiencing poor fit, this course offers practical guidance to help you elevate patient satisfaction through personalized fittings. Through engaging content and video demonstrations with diverse models, we’ll explore both poor and ideal fit examples, equipping you to address each patient’s unique needs and how to have the conversation. In about 30 minutes of education and 20 minutes of hands-on frame fitting, you’ll gain valuable insights and reminders to guide patients toward frames that match their face shapes, features, and sizes
