First Time Attendees

What to Expect:

The Exchange® is filled with activities including General Session, Exhibits, Continuing Education, Peer-to-Peer Learning, Networking Opportunities, and great receptions. You won’t want to miss a minute, so be ready to start early and stay up late. Our mobile app will help you keep up with the schedule, so watch for an announcement when the 2023 version is ready to download.

Be prepared to learn a lot through structured sessions and informal meet-ups with your colleagues from across the Vision Source® network. We want The Exchange® to be fun, too, so there will be plenty of receptions for you to enjoy great food and hang out with 2,000 or so of your closest Vision Source® friends.

Our vendors realize that Vision Source members are leaders in the optometric profession, so they bring their latest technology and products to present in General Session and display in the Exhibit Hall. They also bring their best deals of the year with exclusive, Exchange-only pricing. If you’re planning a major purchase, The Exchange is the time to make it.

Dress Code:

Our dress code for The Exchange is business casual or resort casual. This is a business meeting, so we do ask that you dress appropriately. You may wish to bring a light jacket or sweater. San Antonio ranges from an average low of 57 degrees to an average high of 81 degrees.

Meals:

To help make the most out of your time at The Exchange, we will provide breakfast and lunch Thursday through Saturday. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided on Wednesday, Saturday, and Thursday evenings. Friday dinner is on your own.

Guests:

Guests, including spouses and children, are welcome to attend meal functions and evening receptions for an additional charge.
